A concussion is a type of brain injury that changes the way the brain normally functions. A concussion is caused by a bump, jolt, or blow to the head. Concussions can also occur from a fall or blow to the body that causes the head and brain to move back and forth. Concussions can be mild, moderate , or severe; resulting in a Traumatic Brain Injury [TBI]. Sports Concussions in particular adversely affect  the brain function of male and female athletes of all ages.  Memory loss, Confusion, Disorientation, Lack of Focus, Anger, Depression and numerous  other symptoms impact athletes who have sustained a concussion.  Treating concussions with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy [HBOT] heals the brain and eliminates many of both short and long term adverse  effects of a  concussion.
