General Location: We are located in North Bethesda, MD, a close-in suburb of Washington DC. It is conveniently accessed from the DC Metro and convenient to I495, I270 and Montrose Parkway, a block west of the northern intersection of Old Georgetown Road and Rockville Pike. Other area landmarks within one or two blocks include the NRC, MC Aquatic Center, and the Marriott Conference Center & Hotel and Strathmore Hall. We are about 4 miles north of the National Institutes of Health and the National Naval Medical Center.
Accommodations: The Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is across the Street and the Legacy and Hilton Hotels are within a couple of miles. If you are traveling from out of the area and staying overnight nearby, you may want also want to look into the schedule of evening performances at Strathmore Hall.
By Air: The area is served by three major airports all within a 30-60 minute drive: Reagan National, Baltimore-Washington, and Dulles International Airports. (In planning your travel, be reminded that afternoon and evening flights in the summer are often delayed by thunderstorms in this area.)
By Metro: The office is within two blocks walk from the White Flint Metro Station on the Red Line. It is also within a short cab ride from Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Station. Because about one half of the trains turn around at Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro and that is a larger station, trains will be more frequent and cabs will be more easily found there. Also, note that Grosvenor Metro has ZipCars.
